Use AI to review a developing plan
Turn a concept into a checklist of dimensions, connections, and unresolved design choices.
Review one drawing at a time
Describe the plan, its scale, and what stage of design it represents. Ask AI to create a review checklist rather than declare that the design complies with a code. Group items under circulation, grading and drainage, planting, accessibility, materials, and maintenance.
Separate three kinds of comments
An effective review distinguishes (1) visible omissions, (2) questions that need more information, and (3) requirements that must be checked against the applicable local standard. For example, a missing dimension is observable; whether the dimension meets a city requirement needs a verified source.
Record the source and date for every regulatory claim. Use the checklist to direct your own review and discussion with collaborators.
